I am passionate about acupuncture and alternative medicine and it's view of each person as an individual with unique needs and goals. Helping individuals achieve optimum wellness through this medicine, providing support though lifestyle changes, and giving them the tools they need to heal themselves are all the reasons why I fell in love with acupuncture in the first place. After dealing with a chronic foot injury and trying literally everything I could think of to fix it, a friend of mine suggested I try acupuncture. Not only have I not had any foot pain for the past 8 years, but during the course of my treatment a host of other chronic issues that I had resigned to live with began to improve. As luck/timing would have it, I was also seeking a career change at this time, and I really connected with acupuncture's philosophy of treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. After nearly a decade of working in the hospital system as a radiographer, this was very "new" and refreshing, and I wanted to help others in the same way I had been.
