About Me

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine have been part of my life for over 30 years.  I was introduced in my teens where I quickly learned the foundations behind Traditional Chinese medicine how I view the natural world.

I received my Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Five Branches University in California, Masters of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine.  I received my Illinois state license in 2008.

I have completed two externships in China.  The first was completed in 2005 at Guangzhou University Hospital and the second was August of 2025 at Nanjing University Hospital.

I am a Certified Provider of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture with the National Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturists (NAHPCA). I am also a trained death doula with INELDA.

I see patients at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago as the inpatient consult acupuncturist with a focus on migraine and headache.  Currently, we are working on expanding the services we offer in the hospital.
