Subtle Body Sequencing: An Advanced Yoga Training
Mia Parkleads this advanced yoga training intended for teachers and experienced students who want to deepen their understanding of subtle body techniques in their practice and teaching.
Our physical bodies function in tandem with inner forces that comprise the subtle body. The power of a yoga practice depends on the ability to access this inner, subtle body. Working with this nuanced energy can bring deep mental, physical and emotional balance, as well as bring a deeper sense of fulfillment and enrichment to your personal practice as a student and teacher.
You will be introduced to the philosophy, theory and practical application of:
Gunas and Doshas
Marma Points and Nadis
Expect daily yoga practices applying these techniques and practice teaching them. Learn to intelligently sequence a yoga practice considering its subtle body effects. Journaling homework will be given; please bring paper and something to write with.
There will be a one-hour lunch break on Saturday and Sunday. This workshop must be taken in its entirety, no daily drop-ins permitted. Continuing education certificate available.
Mia Park eads this training intended for teachers already teaching yoga nidra. Refine your teaching skills, receive new scripts, review how yoga nidra works, receive feedback on how you guide others into a state of deep relaxation, go deeper into sankalpa work, and more. Learn about yoga nidra teaching opportunities and learn how to better practice. There is little to no movement in this training. There will be a 45-minute lunch break. Continuing education certificate available.
